Quality Management

Quality Management of Non - woven Bags

I. Raw Material Inspection

Incoming Material Testing

Conduct strict tests on the non - woven fabric raw materials. Check the fabric's weight per unit area to ensure it meets the specified standards. For example, if the required unit gram weight is 80 grams per square meter, samples should be taken and precisely weighed. After weighing, calculate the mass per unit area to verify its compliance.

Examine the fabric's tensile strength. Use professional testing equipment to pull the fabric samples until they break, and record the maximum force they can withstand. This helps to ensure that the non - woven bags can withstand normal use without easily tearing.

Inspect the colorfastness of the fabric. Subject the fabric to simulated sunlight and washing tests to see if the color fades. This is crucial as non - woven bags with poor colorfastness may not meet customer aesthetic and durability requirements.

II. Production Process Monitoring

Machine Calibration

Before starting production, calibrate all production machines, especially those related to cutting and sewing. Ensure that the cutting machines can accurately cut the non - woven fabric to the required size. Check whether the size of the cut fabric pieces meets the customer - specified dimensions, as any deviation in size can lead to bags that do not fit the intended use.

Operator Training

Provide comprehensive training to production operators. Train them on proper sewing techniques to ensure strong and even seams. For example, the stitching density should be consistent throughout the bag to enhance its strength and appearance.

Operators should also be trained to identify and correct minor defects during the production process, such as loose threads or uneven fabric folds.

In - line Quality Checks

Set up multiple in - line quality inspection points during the production process. At each point, inspectors should check for common defects like holes in the fabric, incorrect stitching patterns, and improper handle attachment.

Use quality control checklists to standardize the inspection process and ensure that no quality issues are overlooked.

III. Finished Product Inspection

Visual Inspection

Conduct a detailed visual inspection of each finished non - woven bag. Check for any visible flaws, such as stains, wrinkles, or discoloration on the fabric surface. The overall appearance of the bag should be clean and presentable.

Functionality Testing

Test the functionality of the bags. Check if the handles are firmly attached and can bear the weight of the items the bag is designed to carry. Fill the bags with a certain amount of simulated goods and lift them to verify the handle strength.

Ensure that the closure mechanism (if any, such as zippers or drawstrings) works smoothly. Test the zippers by opening and closing them multiple times to check for any jamming or malfunction.

Packaging Inspection

Examine the packaging of the non - woven bags. The bags should be properly packaged to prevent damage during transportation and storage. Check that the packaging materials are of good quality and that the bags are neatly folded and placed in the packaging.

By implementing a comprehensive quality management system covering raw materials, production processes, and finished products, we can ensure that our non - woven bags meet the highest quality standards and satisfy customer needs.
